to mention that- if reference is made to the Hong Kong Plague report issued by the Bermanent Committee; and dated the 4th september 1894. in paragraph (9) it will be seen that I was then recommended for the 4th Class Medal for the special services rendered during the Slague Epidemie although I did not receive the medal until the 12t of Murch the following year.
