In reply, I respectfully wish to mention that if reference is made to the Hong Kong Plague report issued by the Permanent Committee, and dated the 4th September 1894, in paragraph (9) it will be seen that I was then recommended for the 4th Class Medal for the special services rendered during the Plague Epidemic, although I did not receive the medal until the 12th of March the following year.
